"I grew up listening to some of the greats like Dr. Dre, Run DMC, and Snoop Dogg just to name a few. When I was 8 I started writing songs. I go back and read some of that stuff I wrote and laugh because it made no sense. When I was 11 I started to write songs again and I wanted to become an artist. I went through about 7 different names, AJP was the one that stuck. The first time I recorded I had no clue what I was doing, I had no clue how to edit or even what to use. That song came out like crap. I did a little research and found Mixcraft. I learned how to use it then re-made the song. The finial edit came out way better then I thought it would. I played it for a few of my friends and they all liked it, but said I need to get original beats. I searched the internet for producers and beat makers. That's when I came across DurkMusicBeats.com. My boy Durk hooked me up with some fresh beats, and I've been working with him ever since."
